"It is one of my most surreal weeks ever," shared Marcil in the press room, fresh off her Emmy win. "I'm not sure what is going on. And I have flown four times back and forther between [New York] and L.A. in one week, so I am in shock right now."
As for what winning the Emmy meant to Marcil, considering she's no longer even on GH, the actress mused, "I don't think it means more when you're not on the show, but I just think it means more time me at this point in my life. Afet having my son more than a year ago, I just appreciate everything so much more than I ever did before. It is kind of full circle for me because I have never enjoyed a job before as much as I enjoyed playing Brenda on General Hospital. It is a great thing to get now that I am not there."
For those betting on a return to GH should Marcil's Las Vegas venture not hit it big with viewers: "I will always come back to the show," promises the actress. "Always, no matter what."
