(Skipping LOTS of time here. And whe I say lot's I mean LOTS!!!) This one is going to be alot of the original things. I'm skipping lots of time b/c I'm taking it all the way to now and into the nurses ball. So sorry if I get things messed up. I didn't really get all to involved in GH until like around the Thanksgiving when Stone died So if ya will just kinda bare with me. Not to mention I'm real bad with dates and things. Sonny and Brenda are just getting back from Lois and Ned's wedding. Sonny had been keeping one dusy of a secret from her, and it was driving Brenda crazy. S:" I'm wiped." B:" I hate unpacking, but if I don't everything will get wrinkled. " S:" Well let it, 'cause I'm gonna unpack my toothbrush and then I'm hitting the rack." B: "Aren't you forgetting something? " S: "What? " B: "The big secret you've been keeping? You said you were gonna tell me as soon as we got home and we're home, so you might as well get it out of the way." S: "Tell you what: Why don't we get a good night's sleep and get into it first thing in the morning? " B:" Why is this such a big deal? " S: "I'm beat, Brenda, we both are. " B: "I'm not gonna be able to get any sleep; I'm gonna be tossing and turning all night wondering what's going on." S: "I don't want to fight over this." B: "Neither do I. And I know whatever this secret is is tearing you up inside. What you're doing right now is really unfair because you promised at the wedding that you were going to tell me right afterward and I trusted you. And you know, I think I was really good about it - I let it go and we had such a good time." S:"Yeah, we did." B: "And now this is all I can think about, because I know there's something really heavy going on with you. I cannot believe you want to leave me hanging again." S: "Oh man, you are making this so hard." B: "I don't want it to be hard. I don't...I don't want to pressure you. If you just tell me what's going on, maybe I can help you. At least I could stop imagining all the horrible things that could be happening..." Sonny: "Stone's got AIDS, is that horrible enough for you?" B:" No, you're wrong, this is a mistake! " S: "No, the doctors double-checked. They've already got him on AZT - that's why he's been feeling so bad." B: "You're telling me that Stone is HIV +?" S: "It's beyond that." B: Oh my God." Brenda collapses to the floor. B:"What about Robin?" S:" She was tested last week. She was negative...so far." B:"What does that mean: negative so far? " S:" When Stone was tested he was negative too. She's gonna have to have another test in six months and more after that." B:" I don't understand that - Stone tested negative and now he has AIDS? I don't understand that. " S:" When Stone came off the streets I made him get tested and it didn't show up. The way we figure is he had just been infected and he wasn't involved in what they call "high-risk behavior." It never occurred to him to get tested again." S:" I don't know. I mean he must have gotten it on the street." B:" I don't understand, he wasn't hustling or anything, right?" S:" He hung around with people who did. There was this girl, she was a couple of years older than Stone, I think it may have been the first time he had sex. She was heavy into drugs and they weren't lovers very long because he wasn't really into that drug scene but he stayed together with her for a while and he helped her. " B:"How? " S: "He brought her to me and I gave her a job at the Paradise and I figured if I could get her off the streets..she couldn't kick the drugs. She was shooting up and I fired her." B:" What happened to her?" S: "She died. " B:" Of AIDS? " S:" A drug overdose. It was pathetic. She had nobody, not even her family. Stone had...he paid for the burial himself. I don't think anybody even checked to see if she was infected." B:" So that's how he got it." S:" I don't know, it's the only thing that makes sense." B:" Oh my God Sonny, I'm so sorry I gave you a hard time." She breaks down. S:" Sweetheart, Stone's scared - especially about how people are gonna react when they find out. That's why he swore me to secrecy. " B:" I didn't know." S:" I know. Never in your wildest...could you have imagined. " B: "Tell me the truth: How sick is he?" S:" Bad. He's got fullblown AIDS. " B: "What does that mean? " Sonny doesn't answer, Brenda starts crying again. B:" What exactly can we do for him?" S:" I don't know. I thought I did - the club, L&B, I was gonna give him all the breaks no one gave me. No one was gonna look him in the eye and tell him he was just a hood. But he never had the chance. He didn't deserve this." Sonny breaks down, and Brenda comforts him. Months went by and Brenda became more and more suspisious of Sonny and his "business" She wanted to know the truth. B:"Unfortunately, we can't get close enough to Niagra Falls to do anything really effective. We'd end up spending our entire budget on helicopter shots. It wouldn't be worth it for a few seconds of film. Miguel agrees with me." S:" Of course. Makes sense." He picks up Brenda's purse and starts opening it. S:"Pictures in here?" Brenda grabs her purse out of Sonny's hands B:" You know, you should never look in a woman's purse." S:" Why's that?" B: "I don't know. I don't look in your top right-hand bureau drawer where you keep all your private stuff." S:" Well what do you got in there that's so private?" B:" Lipstick." S:" Big deal. " He goes up behind Brenda and puts his arms around her waist. B: "Yeah, well, if you saw how many I had you'd probably make fun of me." S:" No way. Not the way I appreciate those luscious lips. " He wraps his left arm around Brenda's neck and starts nuzzling it as he takes his right hand and dumps out Brenda's purse on the table. They pull away. B: "Why'd you do that?" S: "I was just curious." Holds up a tube of lipstick and whispers S:" One lipstick." B: "Yeah, what do you know." She hands him the pictures B:" Here." S: "Buffalo in July -- just the thought makes me thirsty." He begins stroking her hair. S:" Can I get you something to drink?" B: "Yeah. A diet cola." S: "No white wine?" B: "No, not tonight." S: "What's different about tonight?" B: "Nothing." Sonny leaves bedroom; Brenda reaches in her jacket and turns on the recorder. B: "You know, I was thinking about that concept I came up with in Buffalo. The concept for the video -- you know, the dark, dowtown streets and Miguel just showing up out of nowhere and me coming out from behind two parked cars dressed all in red. Do you think that sounds too cheesy? Maybe Lois' idea is better. I'm really ready to start filming the video. Sonny, do you think that you -- '' Sonny comes into the bedroom carrying two glasses B:" Did you plan on being there?" S: "Sure." hands her a glass B: "Thanks. Because I thought maybe you might want to stick closer to home." S:"Why?" B:" I just thought you might still be worried about Harry." S: "Harry's fine." B: "So you worked out that problem?" S:" Wasn't much of a problem. Why bring it up? I thought the subject made you uncomfortable." B:" Well, I just noticed that something's been bothering you lately and I thought -- I just thought that, you know, I know Harry's your friend and if he's in trouble, then I'm concerned. If you don't want to talk about it, I understand." S:" I'm going to go get myself ready for bed." B: "Yeah, it's been a long day." Sonny goes to the bedroom door and takes off his jacket B:" It can wait." S:"What was that? What -- what can wait?" B:"The pictures." S: "Right." he goes into bathroom and shuts the door Brenda waits until she hears the door shut and then rips the wire and recorder out of her jacket. She hides them carefully under some clothes in a drawer, takes her jacket off and lets it fall to the floor, and takes out a nightgown. She closes the drawer slowly and turns around. She is startled because Sonny is standing there watching her. B: "Thought you were taking a shower." S: "Not tonight." B: "I'm going to go brush my teeth." She leaves and goes into the bathroom. Sonny picks up her jacket and searches it. As he does so, Brenda comes out of the bathroom and back into the bedroom and sees Sonny looking at her jacket. B:" What are you doing?" B:" Sonny?" S:"You seem to expect clothes to walk to the closet by themself. He walks to the closet with her jacket. As he walks by her, Brenda grabs the jacket and Sonny turns around. B: I can do that. Sonny places his hand on the back of her neck. S:"Come here. Before Brenda can do anything, Sonny pulls her into him kissing her really passionately and forcefully. He pulls away and they begin kissing again. Sonny and Brenda are lying together in bed. Brenda gets up on one elbow and puts her hand on Sonny's face. He opens his eyes and looks at her. B: "Sonny? I know." S: "So do I." He looks at her, then looks away and a tear roll down his cheek. Brenda lays her head on Sonny's chest. They next day was one Brenda wouldn't soon forget. Sonny was sitting behind his desk and looked as though he wanted to cry. Brenda stood on the other side nervous and scared. S: "The truth, Brenda. I trusted you more... than any woman in my life. I have let you into places I didn't even know.... I had. The truth? I...I loved you... more than I ever imagined I could. And the hardest truth of all, is I thought you loved me, too." B:"I do." S:"Then why are we doing this?" She opens her arms and he walks over and hugs her, then pulls the wire out from her jacket. Brenda watches in horror as he holds the tape recorder up to her face. B:"Sonny, please let me explain." He pulls the recorder furiously away from her. B:"Please, let me__" S:"Explain what? It's all right here...Brenda. The whole *ugly* truth." He plays the entire speech back to her, and she begins to cry. After it finishes, he flips it off. S:"Did we forget anything?" B:"It's not what you think." S:"No? What, you were just getting it down for posterity?" B:"It's not what you think." S:"What do I think?" B:"I don't *know* what you think." S:"And this is how, what, you figured to find out?" He suddenly let's the anger loose. S:"How many, how many others are there?" B:"Sonny, please just listen to me for a second. Sonny!" He starts pulling out dresser drawers and throws them on the floor. S:"How many are there? Huh?" B:"Sonny, I never spied on you! I never spied on you!" S:"Where are the bugs?" He picks up a picture of her. S:"Right here?" Sonny smashes the picture against a table, and Brenda squeels, scared. S: "Where are they? Where are you hiding it?" B:"There's no bugs! Not here!" B: "You guys were talking about Lily's father, and I came to you and asked you for the truth, and you lied to me, *again*!" S: "You didn't need to know." B: "You didn't tell me. I needed to know the truth, why couldn't you trust me!" S: "Because, you don't know the meaning of 'trust'. Deceit, betrayal, those are words know real well." Brenda tries to grab his arm, but he pulls back, putting his hands up. S:"But not trust,and *certainly* not love." S: "We have *nothing* to say. Take this, and give it to, uh, Garcia, or whoever. Uh, give it to Mac, or Garcia, I'm not quite sure on the arrangements of your...." B:"You knew?" S:"Yeah! Yeah! I knew.I *never* believed you would do this to me... but, yeah, I knew." B:"Somebody told you about this? Who?" S:"It doesn't matter. Take the tape, and get the H*!! out of here." B:"Sonny, you lied to me. They already had information on you,and I wasn't going to give them more information, all I wanted was for you to tell me the truth, and you didn't, so I just make the decision because__" S:"Oh, so it's your decision, your decision to...bring a *wire* into *our* home?" B:"Don't you know that the only thing I could think about when I heard that tape was *not* that you'd betrayed me this whole time, but I thought, omigod, he's gonna end up dead somewhere and I just don't want you to be__" S:"So, you decided to kill me piece," his voice starts to crack, "by piece instead?" B:"I just *told* you, I wasn't gonna tell them *anything*, all I wanted was for you to trust me and tell me the truth, if you had told me the truth, none of this would've happened. I *swear* to you, I wouldn't have done *anything* like this to you!" S:"Get away from me..." B:"No, Sonny, please, don't you know I would've stuck by you through anything?" She starts grabbing his jacket, pleading with him. S:"Stop it!" B:"I love you!" S:"Stop it!" He pushes her roughly away, but she tries again. B:"Sonny, don't leave me!" S:"No, get out!" He pushes her away again. B:"But I love you!" He grabs her head with both hands, and shakes her back and forth, furiously S:You're turning me into my stepfather! Is that what you want!?! No!" He starts to walk away, but Brenda continues to trail behind, clinging to him. "No!" B:"Please Sonny!" S:"No!" He left, and Brenda sunk to the floor, crying hysterically and rocking back and forth. Brenda sat alone in her room at Kelly's. Her eyes red and puffy from crying. She didn't want to move, she wanted everything the way ot was before she wore the wire. Truth or no truth, at least she was happy and they were together. But now she was alone and could do nothing but sit on the sidelines and watch Lily sink her clawes into Sonny. The little witch! ( Ok I don't remember a lot of this. My VCR was on the fritz and I missed most of it. So If I mess this up I'm soo sorry. I'm doing this from memroy and I don't really trust that too well.) Stone was lying in bed. He was so pale and thin. Sonny, Brenda, Lily, Robin, and Migule were all there. Sonny was sitting on the side of the bed. St:"Sonny, you and Brenda will find your way back to each other. You belong together forever." Tears swelled in Sonny's eyes. (For the life of me I can't remember this scene!!!!!! so I'm gonna skip. and guess!) Brenda walked over and wrapped her arms around Sonny as he cried. She laid her head on his back. (Ok time to skip to parts of time where I'm not having memory lapses!!) Brenda stood quietly in the back of the church. Everything in her life seemed to be going down hill, and fast! Stone was gone, and Sonny was standing at the front of the church prfessing his undying love for another woman. Tears swelled in her eyes as she heard the priest pronounce them husband and wife. Ohhh how she wanted to go up and strangle the life out of Lily. She hated that woman with a passion! It was suppose to be her standing there kissing him. She was the one who was supposed to spend the rest of her life just getting old with him! She turned and left before anyone saw her. She sat staring out her window. B:"Now there's an idea!" Lo:"Come on!" B:"I was joking! Ok I wasn't but I wasn't serious!!" Lo:"We're going to go and we're going to have fun!! I'm sick of watching you mope around here doing nothing!!" B:"Where are we going?" Lo:"We'll jump off that bridge when we come to it!" Lois grabed Brenda's hand and pulled her off the couch. And pushed her out the door. THey ended up at Luke's. B:"Lois!! Why are we here?!" Lo:"B/c I want Sonny Corinthos to know that my best girlfriend is stronger than what he thinks and that she needs no man!!!" She placed her hand on the small of Brenda's back and pushed her through the door. Sonny was sitting at the bar with Luke and Lilly. B:"Eww I changed my mind I want that bat!!" Lo:"Come on let's go get a drink!" They walked over to the bar. Lo:"Well well Sonny. Wow's it goin'?" S:"Great you?" Lo:"Great." Brenda tried to go along with Lois's little game. B:"It's nice to see you guys again." S:"Hi Brenda how have you been?" B:"Peachy keen. Luke I'm thinking jI'll have a Vodka tonic." L:"comin up!" He gave Brenda her drink. B:"It was really nice seeing you again Lilly." She was as sarcastic as she could be. Sonny watched as she walked away Brenda walked over and sat at a table alone. Lois just looked at Sonny and Lilly. Lo:"Enjoy dinner...partner. By the way we're having an L&B meeting tomorrow." Lilly:"We're going out of town tomorrow." Lo:"Sonny's got responsiblities to this company sweetheart! I've tried over and over to be civil with you but I'm gonna warn you now Lilly stay out of my way! Sonny be there or start lookin for another friend to take you in and keep you legit!" S:"I'll try." Lo:"Let me suggest you try real hard." Lois turned around and walked over to where Brenda had already attracted a thing of a man. You could call him cute if you wanted to but I think that would be streatching the truth a bit. B:"Lois this is Jax Jacks." Lo:"Hi. Lois Lois" J:"Cute." Lo:"I try." B:"What did you say to her? She's looking daggers at you!" Lo:"Nothing important. So Jax that an Australian accent?" J:"That obvious?" Lo:"You could say so" J:"I'm guessing your from up north." Lo:"Yeah. You Guess right. Bren we've got an early morning. We have an L&B meeting tomorrow bright and early." B:"It was nice to meet you." J:"You too. Maybe I'll see you around." Lo:"Well if your here when she gets back from..San Jaun then you can giver her a call." J:"It was nice to meet you both." Lo:"Yeah like wise I'm sure. Come on Brenda we've got to go!" Lois practically pulled Brenda's arm off dragging her to the door. B:"Isn't he sweet?" Lo:"Yeah yeah a regular Mr.Rogers." B:"What?!" Lo:"Great guy sure.Whatever you say!" B:"What's your deal?!" Lo:"I took you out to have a good time...I just didn't know that you'd actaully find one!" B:"You took me out so I could be miserable?" Lo:"Well no!!!!" B:"But you didn't want me to find someone new!" Lo:" That blonde barbie is NOT someone new! He's not even your type!" B:"How would you know? You draged me out without saying two nice words to him!" Lo:"Trust me I know him." B:"Ohh you know everyone!!" Lo:"Just the players sweetheart, just the players." B:"So Sonny's a player?" Lo:"No. Sonny's a man who is being pushed into a marriage he doesn't want." B:"And who told you this? Sonny?" Lo:"Did you not see the way he looked at you? " B:"My looks that's all he cares about." Lo:"Girl you could wear a patato sac and he'd still think the sun sets and rises in your eyes!" Brenda looked at Lois to reveal fresh tears. Lois wasn't kidding when she said bright and early the next morning. Brenda had stayed at the gate house, and at 7am the next morning Lois dragged her downstairs, poured her some coffe and sat her on the couch. B:"Well if I ever become incopitant (sp?) I'll know where to look for help!" Lo:"By the way Sonny's coming." Brenda didn't have time to throw a fit or even cry b/c there was Sonny standing in the doorway. Lo:"Glad to see you could make it." S:"Did I have much choice?" Lo:"Oh you had choices." S:"Good morning Brenda." Brenda kept her eyes on her coffee and ignored him. Lo:"Give her a minute she just woke up. Want some coffee?" S:"I want to get this over with. I have a flight to catch." Lo:"Yeah we've all got better things to do than to make sure this company stays on it's feet. But ya know what? That's tuff. We've put too much in this to let it go. So sit down drink your coffe and we'll begin! So how did everyone sleep last night?" Brenda stood up and walked out of the room. Lo:"Bren?" B:"I'll be back in a minute." Brenda ran up the stairs and into the guest room. They could hear the door slam shut. Lois looked at Sonny. S:"Don't even start! All I did was sit down!" Ned came down the stairs. N:"Lois what wrong with- oh never mind." Lo:"Ned don't start. Sonny is here b/c I told him to come." N:"Well I was just wondering who's trying to help Brenda up there? I walked past the door and it sounds to me like she's having difficulties." Lo:"What kind a difficulties?" N:"Well if i didn't know better I'd say she's crying her eyes out." Lo:"I'll go." S:"No I'll go." N:"I don't think that's a good idea." S:"Well Ned, everyone seems to think this is my fault, so that makes it my problem." N:"Nuber one Brenda is not your problem. And 2 don't talk about her like she's broken!" Sonny just walked past Ned and up the stair to Brenda's room. The door was suprisingly unlocked. Sonny walked in and found Brenda leaned up against a wall, knees pulled to her chest, and crying. He didn't say a word he just picked her up, sat down with her in a chair and held her. B:"I'm not a child!" S:"I never said you were." She tried to get up but Sonny held her tighter. B:"LEt me go!" S:"Not until you talk to me." B:"What's to talk about?" S:"The fact that you can't look at me without that little bit of love shinning through." B:"HA!! Your seeing things!" S:"No and you see it too, b/c that's exactally how I look at you." B:"I don't care what you see or how you look!! It doesn't erase the fact that Lilly is your wife!! She just walked right in and took over MY life!!! And Lois might be right, you might love me more than anyone, but I'm not who you come home to! And I can't change that. But it was your choice and......And I wish that there was some way to take back hurting you. And I do regret what I did, but not why I did it. I love you so much it hurts. And I don't think that the hurt will ever stop." S:"Brenda...Lois is right I do love you. But your right it's not going to change who I'm with." B:"...Don't worry about me. I'm a big girl. I know when to let go." Brenda got up and walked to the door. She turned back to look at Sonny. B:"But we're not over, not by a long shot! I just hope..I'm here when you know it too." Brenda turned and walked back downstairs.
