Bobbie hadn't lied when she said he looked like he was in pain. He was hooked up to IV's and moniters, the resperator tube that went to his lung, there were stiches on the side of left cheek that reached from his ear lobe to the right side of his chin. His right eye was swoolen shut and already begining to bruise. This looked nothing like Sonny. He looked so...helpless. She walked over and pulled the chair, sat in it, and ever so gentally took his hand. His ring finger and hi middle finger were tapped together and swollen. She lifted them to her lips and kissed them. After a week Brenda begged Alan to let her stay with Sonny. And after watching Brenda beg Alan agreed on the condition that she get some sleep ad eat something. Brenda let Lois and Robin take her to Kelly's for lunch before they went to the cottage to get her stuff. When Brenda got back to the hospital she was carrying a duffel bag, a make-up case and a picture that she was holding close to her. After putting her stuff away in the small closet in the corner of the room, and putting her make-up under the sink, she placed the picture down on the bedside table. There were several pictures in the frame. One of her,Sonny, Robin, Stone, And Ned, and Lois, at Ned and Lois's wedding. One of Sonny and STone at the Nurses ball the year before Stone died, One of her and Sonny at the '97' Nurses Ball, And one of her, Robin and Stone, at Sonny's place over Luke's. Everything in life was perfect then. But she also hadn't known about Stone's AIDS. She wished he were there. He always seemed to have so much strength. She needed that now. They took the stiches out of his face a few days ago and now all that is left is a long red welp (SP?). Brenda had given up crying. It wasn't getting her anywhere. And it sure wasn't doing anything for Sonny. She had enough to deal with from Robin, Mike, and Lois. She no longer had to be strong for just Sonny, but now she had to hold up all their friends and Mike. She'd walked in from getting some coffee a few weeks ago and found that even Jason couldn't hold back his tears aymore. She wanted to cry then, but she'd forced her tears back, grabed a tissue for Jason and walked over to the bed. Luke and Ned stopped coming in the room altogether, they'd stand outside and look through the window. Weren't men supposed to be the ones who could take anything? Weren't they the ones who were supposed to be the rocks? Well there went that old story. B/c here SHE was holding them together. Sonny would never have believed it. She was now the one who was the backbone, she was everyone else's rock. Lois walked into Sonny's room, Brenda was nowhere to be seen. Lo:"Bren?" B:"Ye---" The sound of someone throwing up came from the bathroom. Lo:"Are you ok?" B:"Uh-huh" Again the sound filtered through the closed doors. Lo:"Are you sure?" She heard the toilet flush, and Brenda came out. B:"Yeah. I'm fine" She walked over and started brushing her teeth. Lo:"What did you eat this morning?" Brenda shook her head no, meaning she didn't eat anything. Lo:"Did you call Alan?" Again She shook her head no. Lo:"You do plan on going to see him don't you? Lois knew the answer to that question. Brenda rinsed and spit before looking up at Lois. B:"Nope." Lo:"Brenda there could be something wrong." B:"Lois there is nothing wrong with me. I'm taking the chance of having Alan telling me that I have to go home b/c he doesn't want me getting sick. I'm fine. It's nothing." Lo:"No. Nothing is nothing. Throwing up is something!" B:"Lois I'm fine. Alan doesn't need to know that I've been getting sick every once and a while. I'm going to be fine." Lo:"Bren-" B:"NO! What if I did go and Sonny woke up while I was gone?" Lo:"We'd call you!" B:"No! He might only wake up for a few second! And I want him to know I'm here and I'm not going anywhere. I want to see him open his eyes! I'm NOT leaving him!" Lo:"Fine." Lois walked outside where Ned as usual was waiting for her. Lo:"Ned do me a favor and go have Amy page Alan." R:"Did he wake up?!" Lo:"No." Talking to herself"If she won't go to Alan, Alan will come to her." R:"HuH?" Lo:"Nothing." Brenda was sitting beside Sonny talking on her cell phone when Alan walked in. She was yelling at someone about stalk and prices. She'd been spending all her time with Sonny either talking to him or Edward. Her and Edward were working together to take over Deception. Brenda had talked him into it. She told him that if he helped her she give him 20% of the stock. Edward of course was planing on excepting and then giving her back the 20% for her birthday.(I like it when Edward is sweet) A:"Brenda?" B:"Alan. Hey. Hold on." She smiled up at him then continued her conversation on the phone." NO! I don't care what Kathrine Belle wants! She can go nicely or I can take Deception out from under her! Edward already said he'd sell me what he Already owns, and when I get the company I give him 20%. Yeah well you tell Ms. Belle I said she doesn't have much choice! I've watched and listened to Jax and Edward and Lois and Ned do buissness and if I have to I'll call Ned in on this. Yeah whatever." She hung up and slamed the phone down. A:"Done?" B:"Oh yeah. Sorry. What did you need?" A:"Lois told me about this morning Brenda." B:"I'm gonna kill her. Alan I'm not going anywhere." A:"And I'm not going to ask you to. But I am going to ask you to let me run a few test." B:"Can we do it in here?" A:"I don't see why we couldn't" B:"Thanks." Alan took blood and all the other things he did for normal testing. Two hours later Amy walked in with another doctor. Am:"Brenda, this is Dr. Newman. She's a OBG-YN." Dr.N:"Hi Brenda." B:"Hi?" Brenda had no clue what was going on. Dr.N:"Alan had go see another patient. And he said that your boyfriend was down here in acoma so I told him I would come down and give you the news." B:"Ok?" Dr.N:"Brenda, you have very normal symptoms of someone who's...Pregnant." Brenda grabed the side of the chair so she didn't fall. B:"What?!" Dr.N:"Congradulations. Now while you are getting over the shock I'll go ahead and give you these."She handed her some booklets and a magazine." I picked that up in the gift shop. Thought you might like to read it. I'll need you to make an appointment with me so we can get you on prenatial pills. Well that about covers it. Do you have any questions?" B:"No?!?" Dr.N:"Brenda you'll be fine. And Sonny is going to have a lot of catching up to do when he wakes up." B:"yeah. Thank you for coming down here." Dr.N:"It's my pleasure. Take care. Eat good, and you should have no problem." B:"I'll call your office and make an appointment." Dr.N:"Good. Then I'll see you later." Dr.Newman walked out. Amy came over and smiled at Brenda before she left. Am:"Congraulations Brenda." B:"Thanks Amy." It took Brenda minute to realize everything that she had just learned. When she finally processed it all tears and a sad smile formed. Her hands were shatking as she started to cry. She felt herself losing the control she'd fought so hard to maintain. She wasn't sad, she wanted this baby. She'd wanted this baby for as long as she could remember. But she'd wanted Sonny there to share in the happiness. She wanted to see the look on his face when she told him that he was finally going to be a daddy. She looked down at him and traced the pink scar along his cheek whith her finger. B:"Sonny? Did you hear them? Your going to be a daddy. Come one Sony you couldn't leave Lilly when she was pregnant, so you can't leave me! I need you. You have to be a father! WAKE UP!! DA*MIT WAKE UP! Sonny please!" She laid her head down on the bed beside Sonny's arm and cried. A months worth of tears fell from her tearstained cheeks. Two more weeks have passed things have gotten a little better for both Brenda and Sonny. Although Sonny hadn't woke up his lungs and heart had taken over their responsibilities so Alan was able to take him off life support. His 3 broken ribs were healing nicely, and the scar on his cheek wasn't as noticable. Brenda and Edward finally took over Deception. Brenda hasn't told anyone about the baby, and she asked Alan and Amy not to say anything. Amy struggled to keep the secret and it all most slipped a few times but she caught herself. Brenda has had to go to some meatings about Deception for the past few days. She treis to make them quick so she can get back to Sonny, but it seems as though the better Sonny gets the less time she able to spend with him. She's either in a meating or being forced by Alan to go and get something to eat or get rest, and then when she is there Sonny's not. They always have him in x-ray to keep a check on how his bones and the damaged ligaments in his leg are doing, or checking his ribs to make sure their refusing right. Brenda was walking down the hall towards Sonny's room when she ran directly into Kathrine Belle. K:"Well, well, Ms. Barrett." B:"Great. Look I don't have time for you today." K:"Well then make time." B:"Kathrine if you would like to see me, make an appointment. Otherwise don't bother." K:"Is that what you are telling you boyfriends these days? That would explain all the extra time you have to come and see Sonny. Shame really when I first met you I figured you'd be married by now." B:"Well I don't see many guys breakin' your door down either. Besides my boyfriend is in acoma. What's you excuse?" K:"And you wonder why Sonny won't wake up. If I was you I'd sleep my life away too." Lois came running down the hall. Lo:"Where have you been?! We've been calling for 20 minutes?" B:"What's wrong?" Lo:"He's up!" W/o another word Brenda took off running towards Sonny's room. She burst through the door to see Sonny semi sitting up. He was still a little droggy, but when he saw Brenda he smiled. She couldn't move. She just stood in the doorway smiling and crying. She covered her mouth with her hand to keep her self for crying outloud. Slowly Sonny raised his hand and motioned for her to come to him. Brenda slowly walked over to the side of the bed, but as soon as she was there she wrapped her arms around his neck and cried. At that moment Dr.Newman walked through the door. She hadn't been paying attention and hadn't seen everyone in the room. Dr.N:"Brenda you left the sonogram in my-" She looked up and saw everyone looking at her. Dr.N:"Oh! Well what's the ocation? Never mind I can see the diffrence. Hello Mr.Corinthos." S:"Hi?" Dr.N:"Brenda I think I gave away the secret." Brenda laughed. Lo:"Secret? Sonogram? Is she saying what I think she's saying?" Dr.N:"Well Brenda here ya go." She handed her the pictures."And I'm sure I'll be seeing more of you Mr.Corinthos. Congradulations." After doctor Newman walked out everyone turned their attention to Brenda. B:"I'm pregnant???" S:"Your what?!" B:"Ya know that's exactally what I said. But yeah, I'm pregnant and you are going to be a daddy!" Sonny just stared at her. B:"Sonny? You are happy about this, aren't you? I mean b/c--" S:"Brenda, you know I'm happy. No wait more than happy I'm...I well I'm really, really Happy!!" B:"Really?" Brenda leaned down to hug Sonny. They both had tears in there eyes and smiles on their faces. Nither wanted to let go. But Brenda eventually pulled away. B:"I'm affraid I'll hurt you or something." S:"Baby you can't hurt me now." She leaned in and gave him a simple kiss on the lips. (What am I saying when these two kiss it's never simple! Oh well you know what I mean) B:"I love you. Don't ever scare me like that again!!" S:"I'm sorry. I love you too." B:"Forgiven." L:"This is sweet and all but I was just wondering when you had planed on telling the rest of us? B/c It sure doesn't seem like you had planned it for anytime soon." B:"I was thinkin' 8 months from now." L:"Ge don't ya think we would have noticed by then?" B:"Luke I had planned on telling everyone after I had told Sonny." L:"So if he waws still unconcious and say 8 months from now we're all just sittin' here and all the sudden you go into labor that would have been when you saic"Oh guess what guys I'm pregnant!"?" B:"Basicly. Yeah." L:"Kay. Just checkin'." R:"Well we're going to leave you two alone. I think Mike would like to know that his son is awake. We were all so worried about getting ahold of Brenda we forgot all about Mike." B:"Aww. Robin will you go call him? Not only will he want to see Sonny but I want to tell him about the baby." R:"Sure." Everyone said their goodbyes and left. Brenda looked back down at Sonny who had a nervous look on his face. Brenda sat on the bed next to him. B:"What's wrong?" S:"I was just thinking of how close I came to never knowing that I was going to be a dad. And that I would never have had the chance to hold you and make sure that you knew how much I love you." B:"I do know." Sonny smiled up at her. S:"Do you?" B:"You love me just about as much as I love you." Brenda laid down beside him. She gentally laid her head on the good side of his chest. S:"More baby, so much more." They both fell asleep in eachothers arms. Lois and Robin walked into Sonny's room at 10 am. They both stopped short when they saw Brenda laying in the bed with Sonny and that they were both still asleep. Lo:"Awww! I need a camara! This is such a Kodak moment!!" Mike and Luke walked in behind them. M:"I came over last night and they were both sleeping." L:"YEAH WELL IT'S MORNING SO THEY NE---" Lois elbowed Luke in the stomach. Lo:"I swear you are hopeless!" B:"Sonny do you think if we lay here long enough that they will go away?" S:"I was hoppin' it was just a bad dream." L:"aww look at that their up." Lo:"I wonder why!" Brenda sat up and popped her back. Alan walked through the door. A:"Good everyone's up. A few more minutes and I was goig to have to wake you up." B:"Luke took care of that." S:"Hey when can I get outta here?" A:"We want to keep you here for a few more days just to make sure everything go's ok. Then after that you free to go." B:"Well how many is a few?" A:"Two Brenda." B:"I knew that." Sonny noticed that Brenda looked pale and her eyes were puffy. S:"Sweetheart are you ok?" B:"Yeah." A:"Brenda have you had anything to eat?" B:"No. But I'm not-" S:"You are." B:"Fine." S:"Lois take her down and get some breakfast." B:"I'm sick of cafiteria food." S:"That's why your going to go home get a shower and go out." B:"I don't want to leave you." S:"I'll be here when you get back! I have no choice! They took my clothes, and there's no way I'm walkin' outta here in a hospital gown!" B:"Sonny..." S:"Brenda please! For me." B:"I can eat right here." S:"You need to get outta here. Besides I want you to sneak me in one of Ruby's pies." B:"I won't be any monger than an hour. I promise." S:"Good now go." B:"If I didn't know any better I'd think you were trying to get rid of me." S:"I am. I need to talk to Mike and Luke." B:"Glad to know I'm loved." S:"Come'er." Brenda walked over to the bed and leaned down for a kiss. S:"I love you more than anything." B:"I love you too. Oh and don't you dare tell Mike until I get back!" M:"Tell me what?" B:"You'll just have to wait! Bye honey." S:"Bye." Brenda,Lois and Robin walked out and headed for Kelly's. R:"Uhh Bren. I think you've got company." Brenda looks up to see Jax standing in the doorway. Brenda got that look that says "If only murder were legal!". Lo:"I can handle him if you want me to." B:"No I can keep my cool. I mean h*ll it's not like I haven't been through it before!" Jax walked over to Brenda's table. J:"Hey." B:"Hello." J:"I heard about Sonny is he going to be ok?" B:"Yeah. He woke up yesterday." J:"I'm glad to hear that." B:"Jax, not to be rude, but is there something you wanted? We were just getting ready to leave. I have a meeting at Deception and then I have to get back over to the hospital." J:"I just wanted to apologize for what I did. I'm really sorry Brenda. Honestly." B:"I believe you. So who is this great gal?" J:"Her name is Charlie. She's a friend of Jerry's." B:"Sounds nice." J:"I haven't told you anything but her name." B:"So was that all you wanted?" J:"That and to take care Bren." B:"Always do." J:"Oh and congradulations on Deception. Your working wonders with it." B:"Thank you." J:"Bye Brender." B:"Bye Jax." Brenda watched as he walked out. B:"Well, I ready. Are you two?" Lo:'Sure. uhhh Bren?" B:Yeah?" Lo:"Did good kido. " B:"That's behind me now. I have Sonny and my baby to worry about. I don't have time to dwell on the past. If I did i'd go beat the crap out of Sonny right now." Lo:"Come on let's get out of here before anymore of your ex's walk through the door." Speeding up a tad bit. It's now 2 weeks after they released Sonny from the hospital. He has fully recovered and is doing good. Brenda has moved in with him. It was never mentioned, she just did. It was kinda" What the heck? Why not?" things. Not that Sonny was upset or anything. He'd been wanting to asking her to move in, but could never find the right timw or the right words. He was also trying to pop a BIGGER question but the words for that seemed to come harder than asking her to move in. Maybe if he waited long enough she'd just come home with a pair of wedding rings and a marriage license. No. That wasn't even funny. To think that Brenda would ever just do that. had to make it diffrent, but it still had to be absolutly romantic. The romantic part hasn't hard but the diffrent part, now that was a doosey. Finally he'd gotten it all planed. S:"Hey." B:"Hay's for horse's aren't you glad you a jack--" Sonny cut her off by pulling her into his arms. S:"Ha ha. I'm thinkin' since my car is trashed I need to go get a new one. AND since we are going to be three pretty soon I thought maybe a bigger family car or even a van." B:"Aww. That's sweet. Just one problem!" S:"What?" B:"I can't picture either of us driving a van. Sport utility yes, van no." S:"Well whatever. I want you to come with me to pick it out!" B:"Ok. Let me get our coats." Brenda went and grabed their coats and they walked out the door. They walked into the car dealership and it suddenly hit Brenda that it was the same one they had "offically" met at. B:"WOW talk about memories!" S:"I know what ya mean!" Sonny wrapped his arm around Brenda's waist as they walked over to look at the car's. Dealer:"can I help you?" S:"Uhh yeah. What do you recomend for a family car?" Dealer:"Well depends on what your lookin' for. You got your Ford Escorts, Tauras(sp?). Then you got your Chevy. There's a Cavalier(sp?) for your smaller family. Or if you lookin' for something bigger you got Buick Regals and if you want sporty There's always Jeep Grande Cherokee." S:"Which do you want to look at Baby?" B:"ummm. Sport." S:"What she said." Dearler:"Ok. Do you wanna follow me this way." Sonny and Brenda, well actually brenda decided on the deep green Jeep Grande Cherokee. They left the lot and headed for Luke's. They walked through the door and saw Luke with Robin , Jason, and Lois. Sonny walked up to Lois and Put an arm around her. S:"You still here?" Lo:"Well you can be sure it's not for you!" S:"Ouch! " Lo:"Hey girl." B:"Hey." Lo:"What are you so bright an chipper about today?" B:"Sonny and I bought our first car together." Lo:"Oh Lord. Just tell me you thought about the baby when making your choice?" B:"Yes! We got a big Jeep." Lo:"A Jeep?" B:"Yeah. It's cool. It's a family car, and it's loaded!" Brenda and Sonny spent a few hours inside talking and laughing with friends. Lucy and Kevin ended up showing up. When Everyone was deep into converstaion Sonny took Brenda's hand and led her outside. B:"Wher are we going? It's freezing out here!" S:"I just thought we could use some fresh air." He took off his jacket and wrapped it over her shoulders. They walked down to the docks. They stood for a while talking about nothing perticular. Then Sonny suddenly got VERY quiet. He was standing behind her with his arms wrapped around her. He reached into his pocket. S:"Close your eyes." B:"Why?" S:"Please." Brenda closed her eyes and Sonny pulle dthe 3 carat dimond ring out of his pocket. He put his arm back around her and held the ring out so she could see it. S:"Ok. open'em. Brenda I've made ALOT of mistakes. I've almost lost you a few too many times. I don't want to risk it again. I want to know that your always going to be there. And I want you to know that I'm not goin' anywhere unless you there with me. I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You are my everything. Brenda will you marry me?" Sonny could tell she was crying. She stayed quiet not saying a word. He wasn't really sure she was even breathing. S:"Yes? No? Maybe?" Brenda turned to face him. The smile on her face gave him his answer. B:"Yeah." S:"yeah?" B:"yes!" He slipped the ring on her finger. Brenda looked at for a moment, then turned her attention to Sonny. She looked up at him and saw the relieve in his eyes. B:"Did you actually think I would say no?" S:"Actually I was affraid you'd say maybe." Brenda laughed as she leaned up to kiss him. Speeding up again. It's only a month after Sonny proposed, but Brenda wanted to have a wedding that was completly planned, but she still wanted to be able to get into a wedding gown without showing. Brenda was up stairs in the bride room. She's nervous but not as nervous as she thought she'd be. Her gown was a simple pale white silk gown. It wasn't exactally form fitting but it showed the curves of her body, then flared out at the bottom and stretched into a 2 foot train. Her hair was down, but curly. She didn't want a vail, but she had a halo of daisy's. For her something old she had both the braclet and the anklet that Sonny had given her before. For something new she had her dress. Something blue would of had to have been the light blue and white garder that Luke had given her that morning. And something borrowed were the dimond earrings that Lois had let her use. She was all set. Mike knocked on the door before entering. M:"Ready?" B:"Ha! Need you ask?!" M:"It was a stupid question. Lois, Robin, and Emily are about to walk down the aisle without you." B:"Well we can't have them doing that. Let's get this show on the road!" Jason and Luke stood beside Sonny. When the doors opened Brookelynn came out in a little blue dress witha basket of flowers. For a 3 year old she preformed her job perfectly. Flower pettals were everywhere. When she got to Sonny she looked up at him and smiled before pushing Jason over and sitting beside Sonny. Lois and Robin walke ddown together leaving Mike and Brenda in the back. Sonny couldn't take his eyes off her. Brenda got the sudden urge to just give up on walking up the aisle and take off running up it instead. It would be a lot quicker. When she finally was standing beside Sonny, Mike placed her hand in Sonny's. The ceremony went off with out a hitch. The reception was being held at Luke's. Everyoen got there about ten minutes before Sonny and Brenda. When they did arrive everyone was congradulating, talking, laughing, and haveing fun. Then came dinner. Since Sonny couldn't decide who to chose for best man, both Luke and Jason gave speeches. Luke stood up adn clincked his glass. L:"Ok, ok. Now I'm sure that by now we all now why we're here. If you don't then I think you'r in real trouble! No seriously. We are here b/c Sonny and Brenda, after decades, have finally made it to the alter. And all I can sy is IT'S ABOUT DARN TIME! I mean gees congress doesn't even take that long! But I would really like to give my congradulations, my best wishes, and my name in the hat for godfather of the soon to be next Corinthos. G*d help us all. Good luck guys. Not that you'll need it. If anyone deserves to be happy it's you two." J:"Well I'm not as funny as Luke." L:"That's right Junior and don't forget it!" J:"I don't think any normal person could act that stupid and get away with it. But Luke pulls it off nicely! But this isn't about Luke, or my sence of humor or lack there of. It's about you two. You guys have been so much. You deserve the best, and I know that's what you'll get. Just don't let those stubborn personalities get in your way. And lets just hope that the kid is NOTHING like it's parents. B/c if it is we're all in for trouble! No. This kid is going to be Great, b/c it's got great parents. Parents who know what love is and know to cherish it with everyhting thye have. You guys are the best and deserve the best that life can offer. To Sonny and Brenda" Everyone:"Sonny and Brenda." After Dinner it was time to cut the cake. Brenda and Sonny moved over to where the cake was placed up on the stage so everyone could watch. they cut into it together. Sonny picked up REALLY big piece. B:"Don't you even think about it!" S:"I'm not. just take a bite." B:" I'm so not kidding!" She went to take a bite and just as she started to pull away he cramed the rest into her mouth. There was iceing(sp?) and cake all over her mouth. Before she could wipe it off Sonny kissed her. When they pulled away they both had icing on them. Brenda wipped her face and mouth before up a not so big piece for Sonny. She went slowly as if she weren't going to do anything b/c he was holding her wrist, but just as she got to his mouth she shoved it in his face.He hadn't even had the chance to open his mouth. She took her finger and wipped the icning from his lips then licked it off her finger. Sonny grabed her and kissed her making sure he smeared the cake all over her. After they both got cleaned up and actually sat down to eat some cake Luke jumped up on stage. L:"Ahh and the time has come for the newlyweds to dance their first dance." Sonny led Brenda out to the center of the floor. Ned got up on stage to sing. He told Brenda he would as long as he could chose the song. She reluctantly agreed. Good! So am I! It's time for the Nurses Ball!! Brenda is a little over 8 1/2 months pregnant. Her and Sonny had their honeymoon in none other than Perto Rico. Brenda had recently called Julia and asked her to come in for the baby's birth and SHE DID!! Niether Brenda or Sonny could choose between their friends and family for godparents so they decided since nothing else about their life together had been normal, why start now?? So Brenda chose Lois, Robin and Julia as godmother's and Sonny chose and Jason, and with a little influence from the mother to be Ned was aslo included in the list of godfather's. Brenda and Sonny had met Julia outside the Port Chuck hotel and headed for the Ball. Ned and Lois and Robin and Jason were waiting for them. Mike had already gone in and Luke had agreed to the opening act with Bobbie. So he was back stage. After Luke and Bobbie's big Disco perfomance, and Ned and Dara singing, Lucy came out and introducedthe next act. It was something Brenda had pu together for Stone. Lucy:"Well let me tell you! For a former model of mine you sure can pull a lot of strings. Brenda and Lois got a special guest to come tonight. I guess being in the music buiss. made it a little easier!! So I'd like you all to give a big Port Charles welcome to ERIC CLAPTON!! ( i think that's how you spell it! If not oh well!) and tonight he's going to be singing a very special song that we worte for his son, but tonight he's singing it in memory of Stone Cates.( K slight problem I'm not real sure about the name of the song!! But I'm sure everyone will know which one it is.) Lucy stepped off stage as the music started. She quickly wipped away her own tears and followed him. Sonny stood outside listening to the words and staring at Stones's quilt. B:"Baby?" S:"That was really sweet Bren." B:"Hey."She turned him around so he was facing her." I heard it on the radio and started wondering if he would...I mean would he know who we were? Sometimes I can't help but think I never told enough, how much I loved him." S:"I know what you mean. But he knew." R:"Of corse he did." Robin came over and th three shared a group hug. They stood there for a minute until Brenda pulled away and grabed the wall. B:"Owww!" S:"Baby? Robin go get Alan!" Just as Robin entered Lucy came back on stage and was visably crying. Robin just jumped up and whispered in Lucy's ear. Lucy:"SHE'S WHAT?!..ok Alan you and as many of your little doctor friends as you can get together are needed in the lobby! NOW! Bren is having her baby!" Lois was up and out the door before Alan could even think about getting out of his chair. Lo:"Bren?!" B:"Lo. Where's Alan?" A:"Right here sweetheart. Sonny when did this start?" S:"Just now." B:"Actually, about ohh I don't know 2 hours ago?" A:"BRENDA!" B:"What?! It started out as just a throb in my lower back! How was I supposed to know I was in labor?!" A:"Was it a shap stabbing pain?" B:"Not at first, but then it got worse." A:"That should have been your first hint to tell someone!" B:"Well I'll remember that next time!" Karen and Loe came out with Lucy, Bobbie and Monica. K:"Alan is everything ok?" A:"Peachy kean! Brenda's in labor." K:"Then why are we just standing here? Let's get her to the hospital!" Jason:"Have yo looked outside lately? It's pouring the rain, looks like it's been going for quiet a while and doesn't look as though it's going to stop anytime soon." B:"Jason if you joking I'll kill you!" J:"Sorry Bren. I wish I were." A:"Joe where's Frank?" Jo:"He had to work tonight." A:"Can you go call GH and tell them we need an ambulance here as qiuck as they can get one out. That we have got a slightly premamture labor." Jo:"You got it!" A:"Karen ready to deilever you second baby?" K:"Yeah!" A:"ok let's go get washed up b/c it looks like we might just have to." When Alan and Karen got back 30 minutes later Brenda's contractions were getting closer together. B:"What took so long? Did you two fall in or something?!" Sonny stood up when Karen walked over. K:"Ready to be a dad." S:"Are you kidding? I was born ready!" K:"Figures." Everyone talked for a few hours. B:"I really hate to be rude and Break up everyone's chat, but I'm pretty sure my water just BROKE!" A:"Karen she's 100% afaced and dialated to 8. This baby wants out, and it's not waiting on anyone. Ok Brenda we're gonna have you start to pushing soon. ok?" B:"Anything to make the pain stop!" A:"Well if you'd told dome one, you could have had an eipiduaral." B:"Alan shut UP! GET OVER IT ALREADY!!" Sonny sat dwn beside Brenda and took her hand. S:"You doing great baby!" B:"SHUT UP! I HATE YOU!" K:"that's normal. She doesn't mean it." B:"Oh Yea I DO!" A:"Ok Brenda. I want you to push with the next contraction" B:"I'll make you a deal you push and I'll just lay here." A:"And were's the fairness in that?" B:"Do you think I can about fairness?!" S:"Bren" A:"Push Brenda!" Brenda pushed. S:"Hand! OWW!" B:"Fine trade me places and squeeze my hand!" S:"I would if I could." A:"Push!" 5 minutes later a small cry filled the room." A:"We've got a girl!" S:"Baby, we have a little girl!" Alan handed Brenda her daughter. B:"Awwww.Sonny look at her. She's so presious!" Sonny leaned down and kissed Brenda. Brenda moved the sheet they'd used to wrapp the baby in. She looked down at her little girl with tears in her eyes. And in a soft voice she started talking to her. B:"Hi. Hi pumpkin. It's mommy. Ohh Sonny she so beautiful!" S:"She looks like her mother." B:"Do wanna hold her?" Sonny took his daughter in his arms. Immeditately she stopped crying. Lo:"What is it about him that he has such a calming affect? Well Bren if you planned on this on being a mama's girl you better think twice." Brenda smiled up at Sonny who was looking down at his sleeping daughter. At that moment the paramedics came in with a streatcher. Frank:"We got here as soon as we could." A:"Well you missed it by abot 5 minutes." Brenda and the baby were taken to the hospital in the ambulance and Sonny and Mike took the car. They wanted to keep Brenda and the baby for an extra day just to make sure everything was ok with mother and daughter. Lois and Robin peaked through the door. Lo:"Hey. Feel like company?" B:"Sure. Come on in." Lois and Robin came in. B:"But we gotta keep it down." Lo:"Is she asleep?" Brenda pointed over to a reclining chair in the corner. Sonny had his daughter in his arms and they were both sleeping peacfully. Lo:"Ohhh! That is SOOO cute!" B:"I had Mike get a picture of it. He just left." Lo:"I thought I saw him leaving." B:"It's almost time for her to eat. But I'm just gonna let them sleep." Lo:"How'd she do last night?" B:"Real good. She so good. She hasn't been crying much at all." Lo:"Just wait until you get her home." B:"I can't wait." Lo:"You still haven't told the name you ended up picking." B:"Hunter Leigh Corinthos." R:"Awww that's so cute." Lo:"I love it!
