This story begins with Brenda returning for Lila's funeral. Grief-stricken at the loss of the woman she admired and loved, she makes plans to attend the funeral. Weather delays cause her flight to be postponed and she arrives the day after the funeral. Her first stop is Lila's grave site, where she talks of the secret that has changed her life since leaving Port Charles.
